It has been decided that overall this move will greatly improve the atmosphere of the hotel for guests. Functions The dining room of The Chelsea is available to hire for functions. Buffets and sit down meals can be accommodated, and music of various styles arranged. The dining hall could be mistaken for a Medieval banqueting hall, due to its wishbone arched ceiling and original murals with Latin inscriptions. Documents have been recovered which confirm it was used as a Masonic hall in the late nineteenth century.
